Facets of the Heart
One-Day Online Immersions

Heart-based Meditation Facets of the Heart Mini-Retreats are an ideal way to get a taste of our longer 3- and 5-day retreats without having to commit an entire week or weekend. They are designed to be a one-day life-enhancing immersion of meditation, teachings, and exploration of the heart space that serve to up-level your practices and quality of daily living.


Each mini-retreat can stand alone or serve as a primer for the longer retreats on each Facet of the Heart such as Compassion, Gratitude, Acceptance, Forgiveness and Joy. If you are new to meditation retreats, this is the perfect way to “get your feet wet” and have a sense of what attending a longer retreat can offer you.

These one-day online immersions are an opportunity to turn inward and nourish yourself with deep rest and rejuvenation, as well as experiencing the power of being in community with other members of the Heart-based Meditation community. Mini-Retreats will include a brief review of the meditation process, two group meditation sequences, two teachings on a specific Facet of the Heart, a guided exploration of the heart space, and a relaxing sound immersion. There will be group connection and discussion, and opportunities for asking questions. 


One-Day Immersion Schedule

9:00 - 9:15         Review of Heart-based Meditation Practice and Overview of the Retreat

9:15 - 10:30      Group Meditation Sequence (gentle breathwork, stretching, meditation, rest)

10:30 - 11:30   Facets of the Heart Teaching

11:30 - 12:00   Guided Exploration of the Heart Space followed by group discussion

12:00 - 1:30       Lunch

1:30 - 2:15          Sound Immersion and Rest/Nap

2:15 - 2:45          Facets of the Heart Teaching

2:45 - 3:00         Q & A

3:00 - 4:15         Group Meditation Sequence (gentle breathwork, stretching, meditation, rest)

4:15 - 4:30         Wrap up 


Each Facets of the Heart Mini-Retreat is an in-depth introduction to an upcoming 3- or 5-day retreat on that Facet, which will go into greater depth and a deeper experience of both meditation and that particular exploration of the heart space.



We offer three tiers for tuition:


Supported - Reserved for those who are experiencing financial difficulty at this time and would benefit from a reduced rate in order to attend retreat.


Standard - Offered to those who are comfortable attending at the standard tuition.


Supporter - Suggested to those who have a little more to give. Your generosity will help support those who are experiencing financial difficulty at this time.
