About the Course
Finding Joy in Difficult Times
Explore how to find joy the Heart Centered Living way
We often express our desire for others happiness by encouraging them to enjoy. “Enjoy your work.” “Enjoy the movie.” “Enjoy your kids.” To enjoy is to be in joy. Yet, this is not like diving into a pool. It is not that you just “get in” and immediately you are in joy. Enjoying life is central to our health and well being. Yet, so many of us are challenged by this. For most of us, our approach to life is a serious one. We have schedules and demands and responsibilities that need to be met. We have people depending on us. We have overwhelming societal problems that we face. Life is very serious. Joy is often farthest from our minds.
I would like to invite you to a different way of being, a different relationship with your life and a different attitude toward living. It has to do with finding joy moment-to-moment. Typically our approach is one of trying to find something we enjoy. That “thing” is outside of us, and typically in short supply. If you are wanting a different approach to finding joy, and are willing to consider finding a different way to discover enjoyment in life, then this course is for you.
Course Content
Each day for the two weeks you will presented with a video or a text summary of that day’s teaching for you to review. You will have questions to contemplate to further understand and integrate the topic. For that we recommend you keep a journal. Some of the guided contemplations will be in audio form. These are often repeated over several days in order for you to fully integrate the insights you are having.
Course Tuition
The course tuition gives you access to the course for a year so that you can repeat the course if you want several times.
Facets of the Heart Forum
We encourage you to post your insights in the Facets of the Heart Group Forum.
