Easing Stress and Suffering Through Radical Acceptance

From the remnants of our animal nature, we have mechanisms in place to evaluate the safety of the environment and what is happening around us. We judge something to be safe or dangerous, to be creating pleasure or to be creating pain, and based on this judgment, we react with stress — fear, anxiety, etc. or with habit-forming anticipation of pleasure. Yet, it all takes place in the programming and associations of the mind. This course helps to unwind the old programming and associations and to discover that inner peace, which is the foundation for acceptance. From a solid base of peace, we are able to embrace life's challenges with an attitude of welcoming. This is Radical Acceptance.
